Certified Organic

We have always used organic farming methods since we started in 1984. We first became certified in 1993 by OCIA and later became founding members of  Pennsylvania Certified Organic (PCO), which is our current certification agency.  We have always been committed to raising crops using the safest and most sustainable methods available to us. Through annual inspections we guarantee the integrity of our products and keep up to date with the rules established to govern organic production in the U.S. 

Besides annual organic inspections, we also maintain a Food Safety Plan to comply with regulations established by the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).  We have gone through the PSA Grower Training Course given by the PA Department of Agriculture and have been inspected by PDA to insure that we practice appropriate food safety protocols.
