Community Supported Agriculture

Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, has been a marketing model for small, diversified farms for decades.  It was originally designed to mitigate the seasonal fluctuations of farm income and connect consumers directly with their food and the people who grow it.

Traditionally, CSAs offered weekly shares of produce with payment up front for the entire season.  Customers trusted the farmer to provide a wide variety of produce each week based on what was in season.

Over the years, the CSA model has evolved and farms soon customized their systems to suit their customers.  Our own CSA is in the form of a subscription service and customers can order exactly what they want and when they want it.  We’ve designed our ordering system to reflect how people actually live and eat.
